Personally we found the East Coast to be the most
beautiful part of the island. This is where you will
find those pristine white palm fringed beaches, and
miles of them too.
Of the areas to have a holiday this is the most
highly recommended area to stay. Many of the resorts
have all the facilities to keep guests entertained for
the entire duration of their holiday. Not far from the
East coast are the Mnemba reefs which make for
absolutely spectacular diving and many of the hotels
are able to take you out to the reefs.
